
Creating a Protective Bubble: Yoga Nidra
While on a walk lately, I was listening to a podcast that reminded me of something important—something I had never heard put into words quite this way: The boundaries I set are mine, and it is my role to express and protect them. Just because I state my limits doesn’t mean others will automatically respect them. It’s up to me to make them clear, visible, and to enforce them. At first, this realization felt heavy, like another responsibility to carry… but at the same time, it was incredibly freeing. Knowing that I don’t have to rely on others to preserve my space gave me a new sense of autonomy and peace.
This reflection inspired this new Yoga Nidra session: finding comfort in setting boundaries and allowing ourselves to uphold them. In this journey, we will create an beautiful space—a protective bubble—that embodies joy, softness, and calm. This space becomes a sanctuary, shaped by our own desires, where we choose what we allow in and keep out what does not belong.
