Do you know what a chemically sensitized individual is? Today’s episode is dedicated to discovering, identifying and understanding every aspect around this condition, which has became quite common in the remediation industry. But what do chemically sensitized individuals have to do with mold?

To educate us about this particularly captivating subject and explaining its relationship with the main theme of this podcast, we’ll have my mentor and friend Michael Pinto, who after a long-lasting career dealing with occupational and residential cases of indoor contamination, has dedicated himself to share his investigations through various courses, books, and articles, becoming a reference in the remediation world.

Over the years, Michael has created a platform to help others with their own indoor contamination problems, offering the most reliable, well-informed solutions to improve the environmental conditions that may be affecting their homes.

One of the topics that Michael focuses in his articles is the sensitization to chemicals, often experienced by fire and mold remediation clients, certainly, a fascinating subject that we’ll be discussing today and that raises a truly important question on how informed are we really about all our different cleaning options, the effectiveness of those and the risks that each one of them could represent to our health.
