Communicating and trust building between the designer and stakeholders is crucial for bringing great value to the digital product. If you have it, impossible becomes possible. I'd like to discuss how to maintain the awesome relationship between designer and stakeholder(s), as well as share the most important rules of thumb on research, formulating hypotheses, interviewing people, and validating your design decisions while building agreements between the two parties along the way.

The same is true for many other users who visit our site and may not necessarily rely on the culturally dominant sense of sight. The use of storytelling principles in coding comes to the rescue, changing the optics from visual coding to linear coding arranged logically. By asking questions about whether the structure of our website tells a logical story, whether its content carries meaning and function, and whether the reader of this story can easily navigate through it by finding strategic elements, we are able not only to create well-functioning websites, which the blind Google and its crawlers will visit and rate higher in the SEO ranking. Consult The Eisenhower Matrix, and most visual (UI) design tasks will fall under the delete (distraction and unnecessary) quadrant. Ask your product manager if you can work on improving the curvatures of the icon set you are using, and observe closely. Visual (UI) design is the thing that attracts people's attention; although it is genuinely the least important aspect of product design, delivering work related to visual improvements is usually pushed down. How to navigate the paradox of this situation? How to show the hidden value of the visual (UI) design, and when to let go? This talk is about being more strategic about the craft of pushing pixels and micro-interactions.
