Can you be a medium and still believe in God? If you were raised to believe that communicating with Spirit was dangerous, evil, or against your faith, developing mediumship can bring up some very complicated feelings. I know because I lived with that fear for more than 30 years. I was raised in a Christian home and taught that spirits could be harmful, and that what looked like a departed loved one could actually be something dangerous pretending to be them. So when I began having spiritual experiences of my own, I didn't just question what was happening. I questioned what it meant about me, my beliefs, and my relationship with God. How does Spirit communicate with mediums? Spiritual healing, a stroke at 25, and a childhood spent inside the spiritualist tradition.
