Silverstein is a graduate of the Leadership Program for Nurse Executives and Nurse Educators at Teachers College, Columbia University, where she earned a Doctor of Education (EdD) and was inducted into the Nursing Hall of Fame for her extraordinary work in global health care. She holds a master's degree in public administration (MPA) from Long Island University and is a member of the Pi Alpha Alpha National Honor Society for Public Affairs and Administration. As an RN, she earned a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) from The City College of New York (summa cum laude). For 29 years, as an entrepreneur and director at The Summit Center for Ideal Performance in Oakland NJ, she has worked online and in-office to assist clients of all ages—from the nursery school to the nursing home—to reach their ideal performances in health, well-being, academics, athletics, business, and performing arts. As a professional member of the American Society of Clinical Hypnosis, Dr. Silverstein is skilled at using hypnosis as a therapeutic tool.
