Jiu-jitsu visionary, Olympics host, entrepreneur and multi-hyphenate athlete, Cesalina hails from the legendary Gracie martial arts lineage. Today she joins us from Los Angeles, home base for Women in Power -  Cesalina's school where she teaches the art and philosophy of jiu-jitsu to girls and women. In May 2023 Cesalina made history for being the 8th Brazilian woman to summit Mount Everest -the world's highest mountain- during the deadliest season in the mountain's 102-year climbing history. She accredits her success to her jiu-jitsu training and mindset In this episode Cesalina shares her journey of finding her own path within an esteemed martial arts family, how jiu-jitsu has taught her how to feel powerful and safe in any situation, including the most confronting, life threatening moments climbing Mount Everest, and why she is committed to sharing this methodology with others.
