I've been feeling quite moved to get my life together, not just for the new year, but for the last few months. I think this time is a time for accomplishments and determination. Down the cobblestone road is a peculiar sign. One that's slightly tilted and rusted, but points with a black and white index finger to a darkened, sandy forest just outside of town. It's dawn, and you wanted a quiet place to relax before the city awoke in its everyday bustle. You go toward the forest and to your surprise find a small little beach in a secret cove you've never seen before. It looks untouched, and the waves flow gently in and out from inside it. You sit down on the beach, close your eyes, and take in the sounds and scents of your new favorite place.

In a quiet Japanese garden, you sit underneath a covered bench and watch as the rain falls on the grasses and flowers around you. A river streams beside you, washing koi fish up and down through the rocky waves.
