Four years after leaving clinical medicine, I finally let my medical license expire. Not because I had to.  Because it was time. This wasn’t an easy decision at all. Fear told me I needed a backup plan. What if my husband died? What if he was disabled? What if my coaching practice needed to cover all our bills, two kids in college, and unexpected medical expenses.
