Sometimes, all people want is for someone to finally "choose them". In other words, they want someone to stick around and be with them instead of what they fear: being abandoned, or forgotten about.

Many people want to feel lovable, desirable and like they're "worth" being with...yet, the reality is that people can feel the opposite when, at times, they are left ghosted, in silence, alone, or simply not chosen by their love interest (and in some cases, their life long partner when things like an infidelity or relationship breakdown occurs).

In this final part of a three part series, I'm talking about the desire to be chosen and what it truly means - and why waiting for someone to choose you is detrimental to your happiness, and to your sense of self.

*Insights from work refers to a mix of sources such as personal experience, research & studies primarily - experiences talked about in any of the episodes are usually generalised & likely to be a common experience for the many, rather than one individuals experience.
