Valerie Complex (she/they/he/whatever) is a queer, empathetic, and easygoing person.  Currently non-monogamous, Valerie also describes herself as patient, a traveler, and says her love language is giving & receiving gifts. She grew up in the Bronx, still lives in New York City (now Harlem), and works as an editor for a major entertainment outlet. Valerie says it's important for her partner to: treat people well, like karaoke, also be non-monogamous, be at least 27 years old (she's almost 40), and you MUST cover your mouth when you cough or sneeze!! Host Carolyn Bergier and Valerie talk all about their fairly recent dives into non-monogamy in this episode, as well as how queer relationships are typically portrayed in TV & film, and the merits of PDA. If you like karaoke and won’t sing Don’t Stop Believin, hit up Valerie on Twitter at @ValerieComplex, Instagram at @Valerie_Complex2, on TikTok at @ComplexTravels, or send her an email at [email protected]. Make sure you’re following the show on Instagram at @lovesapitch, and Carolyn at @tgicarolyn. She’s also new to TikTok at @tgicarolyn.
