Hr: Zvono je označilo kraj sata.
En: The bell marked the end of the class.
Hr: Ljudi su jurili po hodnicima Zagrebačke javne gimnazije.
En: People were rushing through the hallways of the Zagrebačka javna gimnazija.
Hr: Lišće je šuštalo vani dok su učenici izlazili iz učionica.
En: Leaves rustled outside as students emerged from classrooms.
Hr: Bilo je jesensko poslijepodne, oblaci su prekrili sunce dajući zraku hladan osjećaj.
En: It was an autumn afternoon, clouds covered the sun giving the air a chilly feel.
Hr: Unatoč užurbanoj atmosferi, Luka je ostao sjediti za svojim stolom, oči usmjerene prema bilježnici.
En: Despite the bustling atmosphere, Luka remained seated at his desk, eyes fixed on his notebook.
Hr: „Luka, jesi li dobro?
En: "Luka, are you alright?"
Hr: ” upitala je Maja, njegova profesorica engleskog jezika, dok je pregledavala dokumente na katedri.

En: Grades aren't simply changed.

Hr: ”„Pregledao sam sve.
En: "I reviewed everything."
Hr: ” Luka pokaza bilježnicu.
En: Luka showed the notebook.
Hr: „Mislim da se dogodila greška.
En: "I think a mistake was made.
Hr: Možete li, molim vas, još jednom pogledati?
En: Can you please look at it one more time?"
Hr: ”Maja duboko udahne, kao da se prisjeća nečega što je odvlači od trenutne situacije.
En: Maja took a deep breath, as if recalling something that distracted her from the current situation.
Hr: Na kraju, odlučila je pogledati Lukinu bilježnicu.
En: In the end, she decided to look at Luka's notebook.
