Good Morning CoinDroppers!
Zach is back with me for his second full episode and boy are there some good laughs and great stories in this episode. I hope you're all having a great week and you're ready to hear about some awesome games because we've brought the content (despite the slow news week)
A new "tabletop" RPG from what I believe is a solo developer. I was contacted by their PR and asked if I wanted to check out their demo ahead of release. Being a sucker for a good story and awesome art I figured I'd give it a go. What I was not expecting was the absolutely enthralling story and sound design that made me forget the visuals in this game are very minimal. I'm floored by how enjoyable this experience was and I highly recommend checking out their demo if you're a fan of steampunk, RPGs, and WWII aesthetic.
This may not be a game for everyone but it is a game for anyone who played Jet Set Radio or Jet Set Radio Future on the Xbox back in the day. Team Reptile's next game looks like the next step in the JSRF and Bombrush Hyperfunk style and boy I could not be more stoked. I loved JSRF back in the day and completely missed the boat on Bombrush so I'm very much looking forward to the release of Hyperfunk.
