This week’s episode is all about colour and the fascinating psychology behind it. Colour makes us feel things, we associate times and feelings with certain colours. Lots of people can’t bear to wear their school uniform colours and I've got a strange hatred of the colour orange.

This episode really went off on some interesting tangents! I love it when that happens, when the chat just flows and you make new discoveries along the way.  My guest today was my friend and long-time collaborator Teresa Klasener. Teresa is the resident mindset coach here on The Style Stories Podcast and an avid fan of wearing bright colours and loves a bright lipstick.

In this episode we covered:

  • The Psychology of colour
  • Using colour to tell a story in the movie Poor Things
  • What is colour analysis – is it naff or worth it?
  • Why block colour makes us think of American newsreaders
  • Why self-proclaimed stylish people turn their noses up at wearing colour
  • How colour can be used to create a mood in movies
  • How brands use colour to make us buy stuff

I hope you enjoy this week's episode, I really loved this discussion.
