THIS IS A SPECIAL ONE! One that I have thought about for a very long time. Meet my baby sister Darcy who joins me in telling our Mam, Jackie's story, and what a Mam she was. Our Mam was diagnosed with a rare form of non primary, stage 4 cancer in 2018. Anyone who has fought or fought cancer alongside someone will know it is not linear and resources in Ireland in compared to some parts of the world we are lagging and so, we explain about fundraising for my Mams treatment in Germany. This episode brings you from the starting point of our shared journey to the passing of our amazing Mam, explaining the emotional and physical pains she experienced. Grief is not something I ever thought about until I had to and I feel by sharing my experience I can connect with others who too maybe struggling. I would do anything to have my Mam here but I know she is so proud of how we are all surviving and I know someday we will begin to thrive again! But my god, I miss her so much! And, My baby sister has been my rock and I am so proud of her strength and I know you will agree with me by the end of this episode.
