215: The Nightmare of Black Island

We've been itching to bring you this episode for months - and here it is! The Cyberleader himself, David Banks, has joined us to chat about writing Iceberg, his New Adventures novel, which was originally published in 1993. Dave and Kenny both fanboy over David, as well as showing their love of his other book, Cybermen, which they both got in 1989.

We've reached the Sixth Doctor, as we continue our adventures and our quest to feature a different incarnation each day. We take a look at the first novel which expands on the era of the Sixth Doctor, long before Big Finish bought us Evelyn Smythe, Flip, Constance, Charley/Mila, or anyone else. Author Steve Lyons joins us to chat, as Dave and Kenny share their (very positive) thoughts on the book.

Kenny has tracked down author Stephen Marley, and the pair have an in-depth chat about writing the book, touching on Hammer Horror, Ingrid Pitt and a biography of the Virgin Mary, along the way.
