šļø Luxembourgish Conversation: How to Tell a Story š±šŗ
Something like this comes up quite often when I speak with our learners:
āEch versi vill, allerdĆ©ngs wann ech gƤr eppes erziele wĆ«ll, weess ech net wĆ©i ech ufƤnke sollā
And very often the problem isnāt vocabulary but itās how to begin.
Because in everyday conversations we tell stories all the time:
⢠what happened at work or yesterday at home
⢠something funny or weird from the weekend
But if you donāt know how to start the story, the moment passes.
Hereās a simple expression you can use in Luxembourgish:
Hunn ech dir eigentlech schonn erzielt, wéi - Did I ever tell you about
