Why are dog butts just holes?

Go fly a kite! Or battle a kite and try to cut someone else's down from the sky? That's what happens in the new picture book Kai Po Che: Mini's Perfect Kite, written by Suhasini Gupta and illustrated by Devika Oza. Dr. Danger spoke with Suhasini to learn about flying kites and kite battles, in which one kite flyer cuts the tail of another kite. Suhasini spoke about flying kites with her family in India on rooftops and taking a more relaxed approach to kite flying in the US. Dr. Danger loves to talk about juneberries...but what are they? Juneberry is a tree with many different names: serviceberry, saskatoon, shadbush and shadblow are some of its names. Super Eddie talks about how the berries taste. Dr. Danger explains where juneberries live and how they get the name, shadbush! What she doesn't explain in the podcast episode is that in some places, the berries form in June.
