Dr. Danger loves to talk about juneberries...but what are they? Juneberry is a tree with many different names: serviceberry, saskatoon, shadbush and shadblow are some of its names. Super Eddie talks about how the berries taste. Dr. Danger explains where juneberries live and how they get the name, shadbush! What she doesn't explain in the podcast episode is that in some places, the berries form in June. Today's question comes from Cooper. How do animals get rabies? Super Eddie doesn't know what rabies is. Dr. Danger explains that rabies is a virus, and that animals can spread it through bites. Dr. Danger and picture book author Lea Maryanow discuss how there can be multiple things true and a question can have more than one right answer. Picture book author Leslie Eva Tayloe joins Dr. Danger to talk about invasive vines. Invasive vines were threatening to kill the trees on Leslie's farm, and she had to work hard to save them! Leslie describes how invasive vines can grow quickly, and where they can come from. She explains how she got rid of the vines on her farm and saved her trees.
