In today’s episode, picture book author Theresa Dabney tells Dr. Danger what happened in second grade that scarred her so much she wrote a book about it, and how that influenced her teaching. Go fly a kite! Or battle a kite and try to cut someone else's down from the sky? That's what happens in the new picture book Kai Po Che: Mini's Perfect Kite, written by Suhasini Gupta and illustrated by Devika Oza. Dr. Danger spoke with Suhasini to learn about flying kites and kite battles, in which one kite flyer cuts the tail of another kite.
