ATT, your catalyst to deeper thinking.ATT channel update,I totally screwed up the recording in this one (*technical explanation for nerds* I pressed in the PAD for my microphone by accident probably when moving the audio interface, this reduces the sound for one mic by about 20db, I couldn't just bring that mic up in post because a was streaming the processed audio to obs in mono. We try to see eye to eye about morality, we try to come at it from the perspective of applied morality, as abstract concepts of morality don't really affect much in how you live your life. For example, what worldview allows us to apply morality more effectively? Kyle suggests that we should simply use science and to disregard the beliefs of our ancestors, as science can evolve and adapt over time, this would give us a "science of morality", were we can deduce what we ought to do from "facts about human well-being". Is this a tenable stance? Or are our ancestors not as stupid as modern man is so quick to believe? And is an abundant life, with all our needs met, to be able to live with ease, a life worth living? Where does meaning come in?
