Artificial Intelligence (AI) is the field of computer science focused on creating systems that can perform tasks typically requiring human intelligence. These tasks range from basic actions, like recognising images or understanding speech, to more complex problem-solving and decision-making. Essentially, AI seeks to enable machines to "think" or "learn" in ways similar to human cognition.

I worked in the tech industry for nearly 20 years. When I first started in Dublin at a major blue-chip company, there were very few Black employees, despite the company having a significant presence in Ireland. Later, when I moved on to another major global tech player, the situation was much the same. Today, I am speaking with Furkan Karayel, the author of INCLUSIVE INTELLIGENCE.

So, when do we negotiate? Typically, it's when we can't directly enforce our desired outcome. But—this is important—we only negotiate when we believe it’s to our advantage. A good negotiated solution happens when there isn’t a better alternative available.
