Summit County Prosecutor, Elliot Kolkovich, and advocates for victims of sexual abuse and domestic violence, are urging community members to believe victims who come forward with stories about their experiences.
The annual "Start By Believing" campaign, which started in Akron on Wednesday, April 2, was created by End Violence Against Women International (EVAWI), whichaims to change the way society responds to disclosures of sexual violence and abuse.
One of the organizations in our area that helps victims stand up to their abusers, is Community Legal Aid.
