Voltaire who lived in the 1700's. Do you understand how inflation degrades the purchasing power of your money that you have in savings? What is the true rate of inflation? Probably 8% to 12% per year. What does that mean to us as investors? We need to OUTPACE that rate. Which means...we need to EARN MORE than that rate on our money (on our investments!). This is one reason why I don't mess with investments that pay a "crappy" yield like 6% or 7% per year! THAT RATE does NOT outpace the true rate of inflation! Check out the book, "The Big Print" by Larry Lepard. Would you call a piece of paper an "asset?" What is the value of "a piece of paper" as an investor? There is a serious lack of financial education in most schools. What's the typical advice students get in school? Perhaps go to school. Get good grades. Go to college. Get a "good" job. Why? So you can have "good career!"  Does having a career or college degree guarantee that you will become wealthy one day?? School/college NEVER taught me how to become wealthy. Only how to work for someone else! Ask yourself, "What new asset or assets did I buy this week or this month?" This is HOW wealthy people think! Wealthy people buy/hold assets. Poor people buy/hold things! Do three basic things: 1) Buy/hold Bitcoin.  2) Buy/hold true high yield ETF's/dividend stocks that PAY YOU cash flow!  3) Sell simple option contracts (cash secured puts and covered calls). Selling option contracts pays you IMMEDIATE cash flow in your account! Look at your monthly budget. Know WHERE you are spending money each month. Then look to TEMPORARILY cut your monthly expenses SO that you have more money to save/invest. Pay off bad debt like credit cards and car loans. Do SOME research. Then reach a point where you STOP researching and take action and START investing! If you can accept higher RISK, then MSTY the ETF can help you become wealthyier QUICKER than traditional stocks. MSTY pays out a dividend EVERY 4 weeks. Some months, shareholders will receive TWO payments. That is the case for August 2025. What do wealthy people do differently from poor people? Answer: Wealthy people buy/hold assets that bring them GROWTH or CASH FLOW. Sometimes, both! MSTY is "cash flowing machine." Think of it like your "personal ATM machine" that you can build inside or 3 accounts. What are the 3 accounts? Answer: 1) Regular brokerage account (taxable gains). 2) Traditional IRA (tax deferred). 3) Roth IRA (tax FREE as in ZERO tax on gains!). Know your investment goal first. Then invest. You either want finanical growth or a payment on a schedule (also known as cash flow). I invest primarily for cash flow. Then I take the cash flow and use it, to buy/invest in OTHER things! That way, since I used dividends paid to me, my COST BASIS in the NEW investment is ZERO! Do three basic things: 1) Buy/hold Bitcoin. 2) Invest in true high yield dividend stocks/ETF's (like MSTY/ULTY/SMCY, YBIT etc). 3) Learn to sell SIMPLE option contracts like cash secured puts/covered calls which brings you cash flow! Ask yourself each week, "What new assets did I buy?" Instead of doing what poor people do which is buy new THINGS (that don't bring them cash flow!). Guess what you can do with cashflow? Answer: Anything you want! That's why it's so vaulable.Meal prep to save money and eat overall healthier meals at home! Send us a textSeason 2, Episode #64. Not Me, But You! Podcast. The Summer season will be coming to close in the next couple of months. Fall is right around the corner waiting for us. My favorite brokerage is Charles Schwab. Why? Because they have superior customer service! I can get an actual human being on the phone in less than 4 minutes! Have 3 types of brokerage accounts: 1) regular brokerage account with access to margin to borrow money to invest! 2) Traditional IRA(money grows tax DEFERRED). 3) Roth IRA (money grows tax FREE!). We can invest in EACH of these three accounts. True high yield dividend stocks/ETF's like MSTY and ULTY and SMCY and YBIT, and XDTE etc. ... can be purchased/held inside of you Traditional IRA and your Roth IRA and your regular brokerage account. Only ONE of those accounts is taxable NOW! Yes, you can choose to sell or resell items online and make profit. But that takes some work. I believe selling physical products online to get rid of clutter around your home and to get some cash that you can invest. But what is better is to invest in dividend paying assets that bring you cash flow on a schedule( every week or every month). Sometimes assets also pay out QUARTERLY which is every 3 months. All that is required of you AFTER you invest in a dividend asset is to: "Roll out of bed, and not be dead!" And you get paid! What could be more passive? What could be easier and NOT require a huge investment of your time to continue to bring you cash flow? Remind yourself, that poor people buy things. Wealthy people buy/hold assets! Wealthy people look to build THEIR OWN cash flow. Rather than wait for a retirement check/pension check (cash flow). Rather than wait for a government check like Social Security (monthly cash flow). Note, that we often work our entire lives simply to GET cash flow every month! So not start building your OWN cash flow today? Build your "personal ATM machines" inside of each of the 3 brokerage accounts. When you do a trade/purchase in one, do the same in each of the other 2 accounts. I call this "mirrored trades." You can change your life, radically, in a good way, in 4 years or less. But it requires discipline and consistency. One "life hack" that I like is food shop and do my own meal prepping each week. I still go out to eat or occasionally get take out food. But my LIMITING doing that, I SAVE MONEY. Great Quote: "The entire point of life, is to take chances on dreams, that seem crazy to most people. But feel like destiny to you!" Do 3 basic things each month: 1) Buy/hold Bitcoin. 2) invest in high yield dividend stocks/ETF's. 3) Sell simple option contracts (cash secured puts and covered calls). I also LOVE to sell option contracts at Robinhood. Very user friendly site/app. And do all 3 of these things by simply pressing buttons your phone. The purchasing power of Bitcoin goes UP over time. Dividend investing is a "game of rotation" meaning the best options are typically "rotating" dividends into OTHER investments. Previously, I have encouraged people to KNOW their investment goal PRIOR to investing. In this episode I speak about buying/holding Google stock from June 2024 to July 2025. Unfortunately, for investors who ONLY simply bought/held, they were likely dissapointed. Why? Because the price per share in June of 2025 was approximately $183/share. Today, in July 2025 what is the price of Google stock? Answer: $185/share. NOT MUCH share price appreciation at all! So how can we improve on this? Answer: by holding at least 100 shares of Google stock, and then SELLING "covered call" option contracts. Selling options provides us with CASH Flow! So for investors who sold covered calls on their Google stock, over the past 13 months, they MADE money consistently. For those investors who ONLY bought/held Google stock, they "treaded water" financially and basically WASTED time over the past 13 months. This example of Google stock teaches us to NOT only rely on share price appreciation of "Magnificent 7 stocks." We must employ OTHER strategies to ensure that we make profit! Instead of investing ONLY in Magnificent 7 stocks, ALSO invest in OTHER true high yield ETF's, dividend stocks, and closed end funds. We must play "Wealth Accumualtion" if we are not arleady millionaires. Because, millionaries engage in "Wealth Preservation." They are already wealthy and want to PROTECT their wealth. This is why people who are already wealthy invest in Amazon, Apple, Google, Nvidia, etc. There are 3 basic things you can do to get wealthy: 1) Buy/hold Bitcoin. 2) Invest in true high yield dividend paying stocks/ETF's. These pay you WEEKLY/MONTHLY cash flow. 3) Sell simple option contracts by simply pushing buttons on your phone. This pays you IMMEDIATE premium (another word for CASH FLOW). If you're investments are not making you a profit of at least 12% to 15% per year, then you are wasting your precious valuable time. Pick something else to invest in. Pivot your money into something that will perform well for you. Beyond selling simply option contracts (cash secured puts, covered calls) you can learn to purchase a different option contract called a "long call" or a LEAP. Use your Traditional IRA and roll your 401K money from a previous employer into your Traditional IRA. That way you can control the money and choose what to invest in! Send us a textSeason 2 Episode #62. Not Me, But You! Podcast.  To be a successful dividend investor, it's important to know that this is a "game of rotation." What does that mean? It means rotate the money you get from investments, into OTHER investments. Take "cash flow" and invest it, to bring you MORE cash flow. Or invest your cash flow into LESS risky investments. You can also use cash flow to pay DOWN debt. Too many people have convinced themselves that investing is "too complicated" for them to learn. That isn't true. But it is a personal choice. If you own a smart phone, then you have the "world" at your fingertips. You can learn anything you want to learn about, by simply pressing buttons your phone! We are blessed to live in an age of technology that can help us to become wealthy. Continue to remind yourself that poor people buy things, and wealthy people buy/hold assets. Do yourself the biggest favor you possibly can and "save/invest" some money into Bitcoin! Then focus on building your personal "ATM machine" and invest in true high yield dividend stocks, ETF's, closed end funds. Pay close attention to the YIELD (same as the percentage that you earn on your money). The yield is EXTREMELY important. ETF's like MSTY pay a yield of OVER 100% per year! Are they risky? YES! But invest in them and then ROTATE the dividend money into LESS risky investments, like QQQI. You can work to make your life to be very different in 2 years or less. Send us a textSeason 2, Episode 61. I cover another very popular ETF in this episode, ULTY. You can use this financial tool to help you retire. But remember that dividend investing is a game of rotation- such as taking profits/cash flow and rotating that money into less riskly assets. This podcast gets downloads in several countries all over the globe! Thank you for everyone who has listened and follows. ULTY pays a WEEKLY dividend and the share price is VERY afforable (especially when compared to Magnificent 7 stock prices for just one share of stock). Build your cash flow "machine" first. Then take your profits (cash flow) and use some of that money to buy more expensive stocks and put some money into Bitcoin too. Long term stock holds for me are: TESLA and MSTR. I believe these stocks will be $2,000 per share in the next 8 to 10 years! Do what wealthy people do... buy/hold assets INSIDE of your 3 accounts: regular brokerage account, Traditional IRA, and Roth IRA. If you are NOT already a millionaire, then your goal should be wealth ACCUMULATION. Millionaires are playing a different game because they are already wealthy. They invest for wealth PRESERVATION. So they take less risks. But it's very difficult to BECOME rich UNLESS you are willing to accept some risk! If you use some of your dividend payments to invest in ADDITIONAL shares of ULTY, then by doing that, you are LOWERING your overall COST per share! You used money you got for "free" to purchase these additional shares. So your "cost basis" is ZERO for those shares you used dividend money to purchase! Bitcoin is the MOST valuable cryptocurrency because it has a LIMITED supply. Anyone who invested in Bitcoin and HELD it for at least 4 years, NEVER lost money! Go view a chart online. Type in "Bitcoin historical price" and look at the overall trend of the price every 4 years! Look around your home and consider selling some stuff you have not used in the last 6 months/year. Turn it into cash and then INVEST that cash to help create cash flow. Once you have enough cash flow, you can purchase again anything you previously owned! Have courage today, to pick one thing, and work on your dreams. That's why it's so valuable! We, in essence, work our entire lives for "cash flow." You have money in your 401K and you want to retire? Your 401K company will likely offer you an annuity. What is an annuity? You hand over a pile of money, they guarantee you a monthly check! See, cash flow! Do you live in the USA and are you waiting to collect Social Security? What is that? A monthly check. See, more cash flow. If you invest in true high yield dividend stocks that pay you weekly/monthly...what is that? See, yet even more cash flow! What if you learn how to sell simple option contracts by pushing buttons on your smart phone? What do cash secured puts/covered calls pay you? That's right, you guessed it...more cash flow!! We will all encounter unfair situations and obstacles in our pathway toward wealth. But we can find solutions to these situations/obstacles and then move past them. We can make money even in a market that is manipulated. Do three things to become wealthy (by simply pushing buttons on your smart phone and using your internet connection):  1) Buy Bitcoin. Don't ever sell it. When it increases in value by 10X, take loan against a small portion of it. 2) Buy/hold true high yield dividend stocks/ETF's/closed end funds.  These investments pay you WEEKLY/MONTHLY cash flow.  3) Sell cash secured puts/covered calls to increase your cash flow. I like MSTY, ULTY, OARK, OXLC, XDTE, QDTE, YMAG, YMAX, YBTC, and QQQI. If you're just starting out with investing, then do NOT start with the Magnificent 7 stocks (Google, Apple, Amazon, Meta, Nvidia, Microsoft, Broadcom). Check out the YouTube channel "Retire and Go." Rinsing/repeating your way to success may get boring. But there is power in repetition. And it won't be boring once you're wealthy and can do whatever you want, whenever you want. Use the FREE website, Stock Analysis dot com, to evaluate stocks/ETF's. Click on the dividend tab (link). Look at the yield, the dividend history, the dividend payout schedule (how often it pays). Build your cash flow pipeline. Poor people buy things, wealthly people buy/hold assets! We can collect dividends each week/month for simply rolling out of bed, and NOT being dead! Nothing is more passive. For long term growth stocks (the next 8 to 10 years) I like Tesla and MSTR. Send us a textSeason 2, Episode #59.  Happy July 4th 2025. I pause today and reflect on how fortunate I am to have the people around me who love me. I also celebrate the country in which I live because of the opportunities that exist. Remind yourself: poor people buy things, wealth people buy/hold assets. Whether we all realize and acknowlede this or not, we are all working to get to a point where we have enough cash flow every month so that we no longer need to work. That is called retirement. And retirment is increasingly becoming an elusive thing due to inflation and the increasing cost of basic things in life that we all need. As much as I believe in buying/holding assets, I do NOT aspire to be a work-a-holic. There would be no joy to living for me, if that were the case. And I don't spend much time fretting/worrying over things in life because I have learned that doing that, for me, is a waste of my valuable time. Instead I prefer to focus on managing stressful situations and finding solutions as soon as possible, instead of just worrying about them. Opportunities, in life, are like trains running down a track. Sometimes just waiting and being patient is the best strategy. If you feel like you have missed an opportuny that has "left the station" where you are standing: then just wait for the next train to come. But while you wait, work on accumulating MORE assets. Or know that you have choices in life. You can "go to a different train station" and then wait for the next opportunity train to come down the track. If you keep looking and remain vigilant, a new opportunity WILL come your way. I promise you this is true. So don't be afraid to CHANGE your location. I don't know if you live in the USA where I live, or some other country on the globe. But I hope that you had some time this weekend to rest and rejuventate and to be thankful for the good things in your life. And know that if you do not lose hope, keep accumulating assets, one day you will reach a point where even you will be surprised at HOW MUCH money you have accumualted. That is the idea. That is the end goal. And when you have enough cash flow every month to pay ALL of your bills, then, you have the choice to retire or not. There will always be obstacles in life that stand between you and your goals. There will always be unfair situations. Find ways to move past those obstacles and unfair situations. Success awaits for you on the other side of those obstacles/situations. I review some MSTY ETF scenarios. Real life examples of exactly how much money you can be paid in dividends EACH month. The "Magnificent 7" stocks are all great companies(Apple, Google, Amazon, Nvidia etc.)  But the cost for just one share of stock( $200 to $500 per share)  is very expensive when compared to the cost of one share of MSTY (about $21 per share). Pay attention to the rate of return you earn on your money. It's very, very important. Send us a textSeason 2, Episode #58. Not Me, But You! Podcast. Investment involves risk. Let's NOT forget that. It's possible for you/me to lose money. So instead of looking for "the perfect investment" that is "100% guaranteed" and has "zero risk", instead focus on MANAGING your risk. That's the best you can hope for. On paper, if your investment "loses money" don't panic. Know that they ONLY time you ACTUALLy lose money is if you are silly enough to sell it at a loss! Successful investing is like riding a roller coaster. You have to EXPECT that there will be ups/downs. You have to hang on and get to the finish line. I talk about HIMS stock and how it recently dropped $20/share! What do you do? First thing NOT to do is panic. Then asses and come up with a plan/strategy of HOW you are going to manage the situation. Then go do the obvious. Go DO IT. Do NOT remain in "research mode." Take some action. Utilize "financial containers" like a Traditional IRA or a Roth IRA to delay or completely avoid paying taxes! Use these containters to your advantage. But don't let the idea of paying taxes STOP you from also investing and making profit inside your regular brokerage account. If you want true freedom, then you need to gain control over your time. How do you do that? By becoming "retired" which is the same as having enough monthly cash flow to MORE than pay for your bills. At that point, you can get up and spend your time each day, as you wish. Total freedom! When evaluating investments: look at the cost (per share), and the ROI. Is it a growth investment or a dividend paying investment? If it pays a dividend, what is the dividend history? But most of all, what is the yield (the ROI, the interest rate you earn on your money)? I touch upon the "Magnifcent 7" stocks. These are GROWTH stocks. They either pay a very crappy dividend or NO dividend at all! Know your investment goal BEFORE you start in investing (are you investing for growth or creating cash flow?) Bitcoin, is hands down, the best performing long term growth asset on the planet. So stack it (even $10 at a time). Do NOT sell it. Wait to become "fabulously wealthy." And then take a loan against a small portion of your Bitcoin stack. Poor people buy focus on buying things. Anyone who invested in Bitcoin and held it for at least 4 years, NEVER lost money! Don't be scared off by Bitcoin's volatile price moves. It is growing with adoption. Find ways, to increase your weekly/monthly cash flow, and use some of your cash flow to buy Bitcoin. Find ways to create income that flows TOWARD you each month, instead of AWAY from you as you pay bill monthly. Wealthy people think about money differently than poor people do. I have wealthy friends who are SELLING off some of their real estate properties and instead, putting their money into Bitcoin. We all want to "save" our money IN Bitcoin. Rather than keep money in a "nice, safe bank account" where the money LOSES purchasing power EVERY year. As a country, we are NO longer on "gold standard." So INFLATION robs us of purchasing power, unless you have your money invested in an asset that OUTPACES the true rate of inflation each year. Disruptive companies actually disrupt entire existing industries. Research Uber and how it affected the taxi cab industry. Research Apple and it's affecdt on the camera/film industry. Look at Microsoft and how it affected how we use home computers. Look at Bitcoin. If you like MSTY, the ETF that pays like a 130% yield per year and pays a MONTHLY dividend, then check out the YouTube channel, "Cooper's Thai Adventure." Another good YouTube channel is "Digital Asset News." The creator is a guy named Rob (not D.A.N.!).
