After giving birth to my son, I was met with a version of myself that I longed to get to know. I struggled with birthing the mother in me along with the physical and emotional changes my body was experiencing. And as a woman, I have moments of being consumed by the all too common narrative of “am I enough?”. I began to get curious about my Self more. I craved acceptance and desired to be seen. I didn’t think to correlate it with my hormones, my narratives, or the lineage of women who’s paths have been walked before my own. The nature of a woman is one to revere. There are layers to discover, each one unveiling more gifts as a relationship with Self is cultivated. My conversation with Dr. Sonya Jensen explores these areas and so much more. She is an author, yoga teacher and naturopathic doctor. Dr. Sonya is passionate about educating women.
