Hr: U jesen je u zraku mirisalo na šuštavo lišće i svježinu.
En: In the fall, the air smelled of rustling leaves and freshness.
Hr: Naš razred posjetio je Prirodoslovni muzej u Zagrebu.
En: Our class visited the Prirodoslovni muzej in Zagreb.
Hr: Uvijek sam voljela učiti o prirodnoj povijesti.
En: I had always loved learning about natural history.
Hr: Željela sam pronaći nešto zaista izvanredno.
En: I wanted to find something truly extraordinary.
Hr: Nešto o čemu ću pričati tjednima.
En: Something I could talk about for weeks.
Hr: Goran, moj najbolji prijatelj, izgledao je više zainteresiran za izradu šala nego za izložbe.
En: Goran, my best friend, seemed more interested in making jokes than in the exhibits.
Hr: Muzej je bio pun djece.

En: "Ivana, where are we going?"
Hr: " upitao je s osmijehom.
En: he asked with a smile.
Hr: Stigli smo do tihog hodnika s fosilima.
En: We arrived at a quiet hallway with fossils.
Hr: Bila je to najmanje posjećena soba u muzeju.
En: It was the least visited room in the museum.
Hr: Tamo sam primijetila nešto neobično.
En: There, I noticed something unusual.
Hr: Bilo je to staro pero iz doba dinosaura, no natpis ispod govorio je da je to moderna ptica.
En: It was an old feather from the time of dinosaurs, but the label below said it was a modern bird.
Hr: "Pogreška," promrmljala sam.
En: "A mistake," I muttered.
Hr: "Ovako nešto ne smije se previdjeti!
En: "Something like this should not be overlooked!"
Hr: "Goran je buljio u pero, na trenutak zaboravljajući svoje šale.
En: Goran stared at the feather, forgetting his jokes for a moment.
Hr: "Stvarno?
En: "Really?
Hr: Ti stvarno misliš da je to važno?
En: You really think it's important?"
Hr: " upitao je.
En: he asked.
Hr: "Da, i moram to reći nekome," odlučila sam.
En: "Yes, and I have to tell someone," I decided.
Hr: Pronašli smo kustosa muzeja.
En: We found the museum curator.
Hr: Blaženo nas je slušao dok sam mu objašnjavala pogrešku.
En: He listened to us blissfully as I explained the mistake.
Hr: Pogledao je pero sa zanimanjem, a zatim izjavio, "Hvala ti na pažnji, Ivana.
En: He looked at the feather with interest, then stated, "Thank you for your attention, Ivana.
Hr: To je doista pogreška.
En: It is indeed a mistake."
Hr: " Osjetila sam ponos.
En: I felt proud.
Hr: Ostali učenici su počeli obraćati pažnju.
