Reverand Derek White AKA The Geek Preacher is a UMC Clergyman, a Chaplain of Gary Con, and an advocate for LGBTQI and neurodiverse inclusion. Derek now uses TTRPGs as a tool for inclusion, understanding, and education.
He also is a firm maker and released/is in the process of releasing his new documentary, The Satanic Panic and the Religious Battle for the Imagination. The film explores Derek's journey through the satanic panic as a D&D-loving kid, and how it affected his friends and those who designed the game.
