The Disembodiment Trap: Why It Can Feel So Hard for Starseeds to Be on Earth

What happens when you’re deeply connected to the higher realms, but not grounded enough in your body and the Earth?In this episode, I’m opening up about something I experienced for years in my own awakening journey: being so activated in my heart, third eye, and crown, so immersed in channeling and spiritual work, that I hadn’t yet learned how to inhabit my human body fully.I share what that looked like for me—the rapid awakening, the depletion, the openness and naïveté—and the deeper process of coming into my root, sacral, and solar plexus. We explore the longing to “go home”, my experiences of dissociation during somatic therapy, and how working with my inner protective parts helped me approach painful experiences with more care, trust, and support.I also speak about what I call the “gatekeeper” part, setting boundaries within my spiritual experiences, and learning to integrate what was opening rather than constantly pushing for more.From a profound experience of discovering my raw power on a mountain in Mexico to reclaiming my relationship with sensuality, sacred partnership, and my voice, this is a very personal conversation about what coming home to my body has meant for me.And I share a recent moment that brought so much of this journey together: singing in front of nearly 400 people, allowing myself to be witnessed in my beauty and my gift, and feeling pleasure where I once felt fear.
