In this episode pilot and investor Andy returns to the show to discuss his portfolio and the changes he has made since his original interview in August 2023. Andy studied Business and Management at university, followed by a Quantity Surveying postgraduate. Upon graduation Andy worked for 10 years in construction and renewable energy. 10 years ago Andy retrained as an airline pilot and has been working in aviation ever since. Andy invests mostly in value and GARP stocks. Andy also hold a lot of REITs and asset backed investment trusts for the downside protection, as well as low cost ETFs for thematic exposure and diversification.

In this episode Sam interviews James Cole. After studying chemistry at university, James trained as an accountant. Having first been exposed to the opportunities of investing in the wake of the GameStop saga, he now relies on bottom up analyses of companies financial prospects to identify primarily value opportunities. Alongside these single stocks, he does also hold several REITs, investment trusts and ETFs to try to capture other interesting economic trends.
