According to estimates from the United Nations, 500 million people worldwide receive a diabetes diagnosis every five seconds, and by 2030, there will be an estimated 643 million cases. Ed Deng noticed how time-consuming and error-prone it was for family members to record their blood sugar levels on a regular basis in order to effectively manage diabetes, particularly while interacting with carers or healthcare institutions. Co-founding Health2Sync in 2013, he started creating digital healthcare solutions.
