My guest today is Todd Radom. It's an understatement to say he’s a truly amazing sports designer. Todd is an early creative who bet on himself by going out on his own as free lance sports designer.    Along the way Todd has created some of the most icon work with sports brands over the last 25 years such as, NBA, MLB, and league branding of Ice Cube’s Big 3 league, and most notably the Super Bowl 38 logo.   Todd is an OG.   He’s an entrepreneur, speaker, branding expert, marketing consultant, podcaster, an author of winning ugly and co-authored Fabric Of The Game: The Stories Behind The NHL’s Names, Logos, and Uniforms.

Today’s guest is Will Gulley, Director of Digital Content and Strategy. Will is on a mission to understand what’s next, navigate change, and smashing the play book of copy or imitating the work of others. By cultivating a habit of seeking our new ideas, people, and places, he has built a career path from storyteller to director of digital content and strategy at the Big 12 Conference.

My guest today is Victoria McBryde, Content Marketing Specialist for NBA on TNT & NBATV and she previously served as Integrated Marketing Coordinator with the Chick-Fil-A Peach Bowl.   Victoria is absolutely amazing at leading a team of creatives in storytelling and engaging in a conversational manner on social and digital. It’s is edgy and corporate at the same time which is no easy task to master.    She is a brand manager, creative leader, and mentor to many creatives in the industry.

My guest today is Selena Castillo, Creative Director for Duke Women’s Basketball. She is a great storyteller and is oozing with knowledge.  She is multi-talented as an entrepreneur, thought leader, and mentor to so many young creatives while blazing trail in women’s college basketball.  Selena talks her about role in the Duke Women’s Basketball program, developing the program’s social media strategy, and shares advices for creatives and so much more.

Mark Majewski is Creative Director for the Boston Bruins and TD Garden. Fresh out of college, Mark started out as a sports information director and found out while working at Wayne State, USA Hockey, Illinois Golf Association, and Clemson that he is a creative.   He is a story of endurance and persistence.    Despite getting what he calls a late start to being a sports creative, the Mark is further thing from being an overnight success.    Fast forward to today and Mark's list of accomplishments are staggering. In this episode, we get into the numerous lessons learned while building his career including finding his voice, his ideation process, and his unique career philosophy.   Even if you aren’t a designer, Mark's story will resonate. We all need courage, a strong mindset, and pure grit to overcome obstacles, pursue big dreams, and do the seemingly impossible.
