Season 2: Let Him Finish! With Special Guest Briggs Hatton

True Story: I chased, nay, hunted Briggs Hatton down through, of all places, LinkedIn. He was super gracious to accept my request to come on the pod and I’m so glad he did.The mythical “Incest Wedding” has a great story behind the whole tag featuring Matt Gourley. And Briggs’ journey from PA to writer is inspiring. This episode is so worth the listen.

Stop what you’re doing, we have Spencer Crittenden on the pod.Probably one of the most thoughtful people and just darn funny people I’ve met. We dive into  Community, being Annie’s brother, and lots of other nuggets. That’s all I’ll say. It gets awesome. Enjoy!

Hi, I'm Alex and this is...Pop Pop Culture 101 on Six Seasons and a Podcast. While Community isn't on TV anymore, I'm continuing what I think would be a deep dive into the Pop (Pop) Culture that would inspire new episodes of the show. I'm really excited to talk to Sam Phalen, Survivor 47 Runner Up, and we even get into Chicago White Sox baseball. I really recommend listening to this even if you're not a Reality TV or Sports fan. Sam is so interesting and thoughtful. Just an excellent conversation. Let me know what you think of the new series!

This week we have THE Professor Slater, Lauren Stamile. Which means I had to bring the big guns out of retirement. Jillian and Michael from Welcome to Greendale podcast joined me to talk about Season 1 and what was and what could have been if Jeff would have made the right decision! (TEAM SLATER!) And possibly there's a special appearance by my daughter who got the chance to ask Lauren about her acting coaching.Another awesome episode for you all! Hope you've been enjoying the new "Season".

If you listened to Harmontown at any length you know the name Steve Levy. And maybe, like me, you've yelled it out at a live show. Once Dan Harmon's assistant, Steve has gone on to become an integral part of the Dan Harmon ecosystem as Vice President of Harmonious Claptrap (Dan Harmon's TV Production Company).Thoughtful, kind, and incredibly intelligent are just a few words I'd use to describe Steve. This was a great conversation about the innerworkings of Dan's mind....and maybe, just maybe there's some Community Movie Updates at the end!

What if I told you I found the person behind the Social Media Accounts (Twitter, Instagram, and TikTok) for Sony and the Community TV accounts during the height of the pandemic and resurgence of Community online?Well her name is Tedi and she's whip smart, a super fan, and someone I call friend. Matt from Communiess online joined us and between the two of them if you thought or posted about Community between 2019 and now they've read and engaged with your posts.Enjoy this look back and fascinating insight on this amazing social media journey.

Hey folks! We're back with the first episode of what I guess I'm calling Season 2 of Six Seasons and a Podcast. I reserve the right to change that at any time because it's all the same podcast, right? Who knows. All I know is that Adam Countee joined me and he was hilarious and thoughtful and everything I hope a pod guest would be. Enjoy the conversation and look for weekly episodes throughout June, July, and maybe August.

Hey folks!Guess what? I decided to relaunch, repilot, restart Six Seasons and a Podcast. I've got close to 10 new episodes coming over the next few months and I can't wait to share the names and conversations with you!Matt from Communiess joined me to talk about where we've been, where we are, and where we're going. Feel free to check me out on all the socials and email me if you want to say hi at [email protected]. I'd love to hear stories about your fandom of the show and if you like listening to the podcast. Matt from Communies had a great interview with The Hop-Ons Podcast host Colin Cox about his academic paper called, "Still Cool as a Zombie": Community, the Zombie Aesthetic, and the Politics of Belonging. His article is here: https://www.mdpi.com/2076-0787/13/5/117
