On this episode of the SeventySix Capital Sports Leadership Show, Wayne Kimmel interviewed CEO and Co-Founder of Overtime, Dan Porter.


Porter, who graduated with a B.A. from Princeton and a masters from NYU, is the CEO and co-founder of Overtime, a sports network for the next generation of fans, generating a billion views a month and backed by VC’s like Andreessen Horowitz and Spark, and Kevin Durant and former NBA commissioner David Stern.


Previously Porter was the head of digital at Endeavor. He also led and sold the gaming company OMGPOP for $200mm and ticketing company TicketWeb for $40mm.


Porter was the creator of the Draw Something mobile game which was downloaded 250 million times. Earlier in his career, Porter led development for Richard Branson and the Virgin Group, worked twice in the music business, was a public school teacher, and was President of Teach For America, the national education non-profit. Today Porter teaches undergraduates at NYU and lives in Brooklyn with his wife, sons, and dogs.
