The hosts invite you along to learn all about the man who developed and perfected the signature "Dark Deco" look of the series, his humble beginnings in middle America, how he broke into animation, and his early influences that would later inspire the world of BTAS. They also discuss how he eventually landed at Warner Brothers working on Tiny Toon Adventures with Bruce Timm, and how that led to an opportunity to develop the Dark Knight's return to animation in the wake of "Batmania,", the pushback received on his decision to draw the backgrounds on black paper and all about the one minute short later dubbed "The Dark Knight's First Night" that set the entire industry abuzz.
