Happy iPhone season! Well, maybe it is, maybe it isn't -- if JV has any say about it, the new iPhone 14 lineup is fine from most standpoints, but a whole new paradigm is starting with the introduction of fully eSIM units in the US. And we're back! Thank you so much for your patience as I, JV, get back in the saddle to host the Pocketnow Weekly Podcast. I never closed the door on hosting this long running show, but I did find that I had to take care of my own stuff, personal and professional, as I juggled so many different projects at any given time. That being said, I had a great opportunity to bring back the podcast because some of our friends were together with me on a wonderful trip -- the Sony Kando Trip. Google I/O has come and gone, but there were so many great announcements made that JV and Nick Gray have to make a chunky episode talking about everything that they were excited about. Google I/O is on the horizon, and there are a few hardware announcements that JV and Nick are really excited for: the Pixel 6a, Pixel Watch, and Pixel Buds Pro. Of course, that doesn't mean we're really going to be seeing them in a few days, but it's still fun to speculate!
