Dr. Amna Shabbir welcomes Dr. Adrienne Towsen, an orthopedic surgeon with 20 years of experience and a single mother of two. Dr. Towson shares her unexpected journey into the world of competitive ballroom dancing, which she began at age 46. 

Despite a demanding career, she found a new passion that not only brought joy but also helped her reconnect with herself as her children became more independent. Dr. Towsen also dives into her work with The Working Mom, a platform

 

Bio

Adrienne Towsen, MD is an orthopedic surgeon specializing in shoulder and knee. She has been in practice in West Chester, Pennsylvania for 20 years. She is also a single mother with 2 young adult daughters. Six years ago, she discovered ballroom dancing which quickly became a passion. She now competes internationally with her instructor. With the little bit of left over time she has, she is the co-founder of The Working Mom, a platform to support moms working in healthcare.
