The Captain of My Destiny

Paw Paw Chuck reveals the next chapter in the story of his life before coming to know Jesus. His reputation as Goliath grows as he viciously fights back bandits on Wild Mountain. But facing an ambush and certain death, he is given an offer too good to refuse - a chance to escape and be ruler over his own army – in a place called, “Shadow Valley!”

Handyman, teacher, mentor and friend – Paw Paw Chuck is all of these things to the kids in the club. But will all that change when they find out who Paw Paw Chuck used to be?

Staci makes a new friend that helps her understand that “truth speaks even when we don’t want it to.” That mysterious saying leads Staci to a discovery of how important it is to love the things God loves. Meanwhile C.J. has to face the truth himself when his new buddy reveals a dishonest streak!

C.J. befriends Saint Merrion, a member of “The Big White Church.” When she decides not to return to her strange church to spend every day of her life telling others about Jesus, C.J. helps Saint Merrion realize she has a lot to learn about the world she hopes to witness to. Together they discover that the purity of our heart is more important to God than just appearing to be godly on the outside.

Paw Paw Chuck and C.J. make a delivery to a local church in Pleasant Valley, a town that sounds like… well, a pleasant place to visit. But when the townspeople mockingly describe the members of the “Big White Church,” it doesn’t sound like any group of Christians Paw Paw Chuck and C.J. have ever heard of.

C.J. befriends a group of weak and pitiful creatures. He gets the surprise of his life when he discovers they don't want his help! Meanwhile, Tiffany learns that she has a terrible illness that can only be cured if she changes who she is from the inside out!

Staci welcomes a new arrival to Wildwood and her whole world is turned upside down! Eunice McGruff convinces Staci that if you want anything in this world you have to make it happen for yourself. Staci likes what she hears, but is that what God tells us to do?

Ol’ Gus tells the Bible story of Achan, a man who disobeyed God and suffered for it. Meanwhile, Marsha’s food and blanket drive for the needy in Wildwood is coming together nicely. But when Marsha falls to temptation, she finds herself in Achan’s place!

“It’s a battle between the ‘Have’s' and the ‘Have-Not’s!'” With his father making a lot of money working for Mr. Rockler, C.J. quickly finds himself on the outs with his jealous friends. New clothes, new privileges, even Tiffany thinks C.J. is okay now! When God told us to “weep with those who weep and rejoice with those who rejoice,” He didn’t mean we have to be happy for C.J., or did He?

Mr. Rockler’s new railroad threatens to run right over The Fortress! Now the Club must band together to save it. They don’t know it yet, but the battle is for much more than just their clubhouse… it’s a spiritual battle for the future of Shadow Valley!
