Is it possible to repair the brain in Parkinson's disease? In this special webinar, we are joined by Professor Roger Barker from the University of Cambridge to answer that very question.

Professor Barker is a global leader in cell-based therapies and a Principal Investigator at the Cambridge Stem Cell Institute. In this talk, he breaks down the science of replacing lost dopamine cells, the history of fetal tissue transplants, and the exciting new era of stem cell trials.

He discusses the potential for a "one-off" treatment that could restore dopamine levels to normal, the challenges of past trials, and what the future holds for people living with Parkinson's today.

About the Speaker: Professor Roger Barker is a Professor of Clinical Neuroscience and Consultant Neurologist at Addenbrooke’s Hospital, Cambridge. He leads the Stem-PD clinical trial and is a central figure in the global G-Force PD consortium, working to bring stem cell therapies to the clinic.
