Alright, Packers fans.
Cal Hutson here for Packernet Podcast Studios.
And, uh...
I don't even know where to start.
Actually, you know what?
I do.
Because sometimes you watch a football game and you walk away thinking, "Okay, that was ugly, but there are things to build on."
Sometimes you watch a football game and think, "Well, that was frustrating, but the team just made a couple mistakes."
And then sometimes you watch a football game and you spend the fourth quarter staring at your television like you're trying to figure out whether the remote control is capable of launching itself directly into the wall.
And that's where we're at tonight.
The Atlanta Falcons came into Lambeau Field 0–2.
The Packers came in 1–1.
Green Bay was favored.
It was the home opener.
Thursday night.
Lambeau Field.
National television.
Michael Penix Jr. was coming back from an ACL injury.
And the Packers had every opportunity to walk out of this game 2–1 feeling pretty good about themselves.
Instead?
Atlanta came into Green Bay and absolutely punched the Packers in the mouth.
And the frustrating part is that this wasn't some bizarre football game where everything had to go wrong for Green Bay.
The Falcons just played better.
That's the part that bothers me.
