Grab a beer and join us tonight for our 500th episode! This isn't a full episode and it isn't really an Overtime, just the three of us hanging out and looking back on seven years of doing this. We dig up some old clips from those first three episodes we dropped all at once, plus the 2019 announcment of our Patreon, and talk about how much the show has changed since we were recording in a tiny room with no carpet. We also get into whether any of our opinions have changed over the years, an update on Mike's Necronomipod tattoo, and what the next 500 might look like. Thank you all for listening! Here's to 500 more! Preorder a signed copy of With Foundation: https://withfoundationbook.com https://www.necronomipod.com https://www.patreon.com/necromomipod Learn more about your ad choices. Grab a beer and join us tonight as we cover the Peter Bergmann case! In June of 2009, a man checked into a hotel in Sligo, Ireland under the name Peter Bergmann, gave an address in Vienna that didn't exist, and paid for everything in cash. Over the next few days he kept leaving the hotel with a purple bag full of stuff and coming back with it empty. Then on the morning of June 16th, he was found dead on a beach outside of town, with every label cut out of his clothes. So tonight we'll get into the days leading up to it, what the autopsy found, and why seventeen years later nobody knows who he was. Grab a beer and join us tonight for another installment of Necro Overtime! Tonight we have three stories. First, a guy in Fond du Lac, Wisconsin got arrested on a stalking case, and investigators found at least five human skulls on display in his basement, plus shrines to Ed Gein and John Wayne Gacy. Then a quick Mackenzie Shirilla update, because the Ohio Supreme Court has now shot her down twice. Grab a beer and join us tonight as we cover Ruben Salazar! He was one of the only Mexican-American journalists working in Los Angeles at the time, a columnist for the LA Times and the news director at KMEX, and he'd spent years writing about how the cops out there treated the Chicano community. On August 29th, 1970, he ducked into a bar called the Silver Dollar to get away from a protest that had turned ugly, and a sheriff's deputy fired a tear gas projectile through the doorway that hit him in the head. So tonight we'll get into who he was, what happened that day, and why a lot of people still don't buy that it was an accident. Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Grab a beer and join us tonight for a special installment of Necro Overtime, The Gypsy Rose Racism Extravaganza! We'll get into the leaked prison calls that have been coming out on TikTok, what's actually on them, Gypsy's statement, and Ryan Anderson's two different responses to it. This one is a hardline for us, so it'll be Gypsy's send off. https://www.necronomipod.com https://www.patreon.com/necronomipod Learn more about your ad choices. Visit megaphone.fm/adchoices

Grab a beer and join us tonight as we cover Amy Mihaljevic! On October 27th, 1989, Amy was 10 years old, home alone in Bay Village, when the phone rang. The guy on the other end told her that her mom had just gotten a promotion at work, and that the two of them should go pick out a gift for her. So Amy walked from school over to the Bay Square Shopping Center that afternoon to meet him. Kids from her class saw her talking to a man near the barbershop, and that's the last anybody saw of her. Tonight we'll get into the calls that came before, the investigation that followed, and where things stand today. https://www.necronomipod.com https://www.patreon.com/necronomipod https://www.gofundme.com/f/justice-for-amy-fund-dna-testing Sponsored by Boll & Branch: https://www.bollandbranch.com/necro Learn more about your ad choices.
