meditation mondays - being patient

welcome back to Meditation Mondays. this meditation will talk about preparing yourself before stepping into your purpose. there are several things that will go through your mind and self-doubt may be one of them, but you can overcome this fear and walk confidently into one of your best seasons.

this meditation is special because it marks the one-year anniversary of Reopho R.O.S.E. on March 20th, Reopho R.O.S.E. officially turned ONE! it has been a wonderful journey, but it has not been easy. I needed to remain persistent and push through the obstacles of my own life to give you guys the best meditations I possibly could. so for this meditation, we will focus on how to remain persistent even when things get tough.

this week, we will focus on remaining patient in times of uncertainty. it’s very hard to accept that what you want won’t happen exactly when you want it to, but it’s important to remember that things happen when they are supposed to. whether we like it or not. we will explore how to remain patient in situations where we would like to be in control.

this week, we will focus on releasing expectations in order to accept reality. sometimes our reality is better than we expected and our expectations are confining us. we will explore how to plan but also accept differences as they come.

this week, we will focus on shifting your mindset out of rest mode. regardless of the length, a break can take us so far away from work that when it’s time to return, we feel groggy and unmotivated. we will explore how to prepare yourself for work after taking a long pause.

this week, we will focus on welcoming good days, accepting that the past has happened whether good or bad, but good days will follow. we will explore how you can shift your mindset to be more receptive to positivity.

this week, we will focus on making room for happiness. during this pandemic, it may feel selfish to celebrate and feel joy, especially when people are sick and 2020 has been far from joyful. but that doesn’t mean that you shouldn’t allow yourself to be happy about the things that are going right.

this week, we will discuss how to be confident while struggling with anxiety. from interviews to group projects, anxiety can make speaking very hard. we will explore how to overcome those feelings

this week, we will discuss the importance of making time for yourself. throughout the week, especially extremely busy ones, it’s easy to focus on completing all of your responsibilities, but are you making time for yourself?

this week, we will discuss how to be gentle with yourself. although it seems simple, it can be very hard to have the same grace for yourself that you have for others; you deserve that same grace.
