As much as DEI is a current “hot topic” for organizations very few are taking the opportunity to question the assumptions that underpin the foundation of their talent selection process: resumes and interviews. If those tools are fundamentally harmful to creating an inclusive environment, then anything built on them will always fail on those agendas.
