Hood discussed the Bears starting QB against the Jets this Sunday.  We still don't know who will start.  Who do the fans want to start at QB: Case or Tyson?  Kyler Gordon is back at Bears practice this week while remaining on the PUP list. Is the drama over this whole situation finally over? Could they be simply prepping a trade?

Hood discussed the Cubs being eliminated from the postseason.  The White Sox are STILL ALIVE, KID! They beat the Astros in a very convincing sweep and will face the Guardians in the ALDS after taking the season series 7-6.

The Pope has to be beside himself.  Is this the greatest turnaround in Chicago sports history? Where does this rank in the all-time list of Chicago "surprise" teams? 

Hour 3: MLB Insider ESPN Jesse Rogers joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the White Sox, Cubs and the latest MLB storylines.  Kap & J. Hood played Shot or No Shot, took a trip Around The NFL and the Kap & J. Hood Cut of The Day. 

Hour 2: Former Chicago Bears Wide Receiver and afternoon radio co-host ESPN Chicago Tom Waddle joined Kap & J. Hood with updates on the Bears vs Jets.   Kap & J. Hood discussed the White Sox Wildcard game; manager Will Venable asked for a never seen before challenge.  Craig Counsell and Will Venable postgame and Tom Waddle MLB Playoffs analysis.

Hour 1: Kap & J. Hood reacted to the White Sox keeping their pedal to the metal for a win in Game 1 against Houston, emptying the tank on Grant Taylor and Hagen Smith in a 6-3 opening win.  How far can this pitching strategy really take them? Not the best start for Michael Boyd in San Diego as the Cubs lose 8-0 to the Padres.  Can they rebound in game 2?
