Brett Forte is no stranger to controversy and cancellation. After winning 'Yuk Yuks Top New Comic' of 2016 and 'Edmonton's Funniest Person' in 2017, Forte became a favourite at The Hollywood Comedy Festival, appeared at Just For Laughs and has since been banned by the CBC, and fired from commercial gigs for offending the humourless.

Most recently his comedy trio, The Danger Cats, have been banned from numerous venues in Canada after a shirt they sold depicting serial killer cannibal Robert Pickton made controversial national news. Despite this Brett persists and flourishes and has landed jobs with tops acts like TJ Miller, Jay Pharoah, Chris Delia, Brendan Schaub, Josh Wolf and Bobby Lee.

Brett joins me to discuss how to flourish in the face of controversy, build up resilience, the importance of humour in the face of tragedy, the challenges comedians face in todays sensitive climate, and much more.
