71. Consistency is Self-Respect: You are the Only One Standing in Your Way
The only thing that guarantees our failure in any endeavor is if we give up.
Yet, we flirt with our own uncertainty and imposter syndrome more than we embrace our dreams and goals, talking ourselves out of what we want and what it takes to get there instead of talking ourselves into action.
We ask: "Is this worth it? Am I doing the right thing? Spending my time in the right places?"
We self-sabotage our efforts to self-empower with limiting beliefs we don't realize are running the show.
I must ask you:
Do you break promises to yourself?
Do you avoid the truths you're scared to share?
Do you harbor resentment towards others for not being trustworthy or consistent or "there for you"?
Do you realize that your world is simply a mirror - reflecting back to you what you move with?
Let's make no mistake:
We always know what it will take to get us where we want to go.
Is it easy? No.
Is it simple? Yes.
All it takes - is showing up.
Showing up with full conviction and alignment one day and showing up scared and unsure the next.
Showing up fully, unapologetically, and with all of your fear at the surface ready to be dissolved with your courage.
Showing up every day with what you have to give, being honest with yourself when you can give more and being even more honest with yourself when you have nothing to give.
This episode is about the deepest form of self-respect we can build: Consistency. Making & keeping promises to ourselves. And getting the f*ck out of our own way.
