Dynasty Running Back Rankings: Updated RB Tiers The dynasty running back landscape is getting harder to navigate. Garret Price and Andrew Mott rebuild their running back tiers, separating the elite difference-makers from a massive group of backs carrying questions about age, production, role, or long-term security. Listen to This Episode: 🎧 Apple Podcasts 🎙️ Spotify ▶️ YouTube Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs remain the standard, but Kenneth Walker has produced at such an extreme level that he earns a spot alongside them in S tier. Ashton Jeanty, Jonathan Taylor, James Cook, De'Von Achane, and Jeremiah Love make up a strong group immediately behind them, although each comes with a different combination of age, injury, or production concerns. This is where the rankings become difficult. Christian McCaffrey remains productive enough to avoid being aged out of the upper tiers, while players like Breece Hall, Kyren Williams, Omarion Hampton, Quinshon Judkins, Bucky Irving, and Chase Brown create major debates. Meanwhile, Saquon Barkley has fallen dramatically after a rough start, and Chuba Hubbard continues forcing his way higher with consistent production. How Much Dynasty Value Should Contenders Sacrifice? Winning a dynasty championship sometimes requires making a trade that looks uncomfortable on paper. Garret Price and Rich Dotson put themselves in the shoes of contenders and decide how much young dynasty value they would sacrifice for proven production right now. Listen to This Episode: 🎧 Apple Podcasts 🎙️ Spotify ▶️ YouTube The first debate centers on Omar Cooper Jr. and A.J. Brown. Cooper has flashed exciting long-term upside, but Brown offers the type of established production a contender may trust more in a championship lineup. The decision gets even tougher with Jeremiah Love. Would a contender really move one of dynasty's most exciting young running backs for Jonathan Taylor? Both hosts ultimately acknowledge that Taylor's immediate scoring advantage could justify the uncomfortable move. At quarterback, Fernando Mendoza versus C.J. Stroud is much easier. Stroud's recent improvement and established NFL production make him the preferred option for a contender. The same philosophy pushes Harold Fannin Jr. toward George Kittle, while Jordan Tyson is a different story. Jameson Williams does not provide enough of an immediate upgrade to justify giving away Tyson's upside. Are Dynasty Managers Overvaluing Youth? Youth and draft capital drive dynasty value, but eventually your roster has to score points. Garret Price and Rich Dotson examine whether dynasty managers are becoming too obsessed with long-term upside while ignoring proven veterans who can actually win championships. Listen to This Episode: 🎧 Apple Podcasts 🎙️ Spotify ▶️ YouTube Jared Goff continues to outperform his dynasty price and represents exactly the type of veteran quarterback contenders can exploit. The same argument becomes even stronger at running back. Christian McCaffrey, DeAndre Swift, and other established veterans raise an uncomfortable question: how much future upside should managers sacrifice for production they already know exists? At receiver and tight end, proven veterans can offer similar opportunities. Players like Mike Evans and Dallas Goedert may not carry exciting long-term valuations, but a few seasons of championship-level production can make them better investments than waiting on younger assets to develop. Dynasty is about building for the future, but that future eventually needs to become the present. 2026 Dynasty Rookies Changing Our Minds Three weeks into the season, some members of the 2026 rookie class already look very different than they did during draft season. Garret Price and Andrew Mott revisit the prospects who have forced them to adjust their evaluations, for better or worse. Listen to This Episode: 🎧 Apple Podcasts 🎙️ Spotify ▶️ YouTube Caleb Douglas has already earned a significant role in Miami after entering the league as a player Andrew was skeptical of. Kaelon Black has similarly moved up after establishing himself as Christian McCaffrey's clear backup in San Francisco. Garret has also become more encouraged by Emmett Johnson, whose receiving ability and elusiveness have translated better than expected. Even without playing yet, Fernando Mendoza benefits from how promising the Raiders offense has looked under Clint Kubiak. Dynasty Risers and Fallers After Week 6 Another week has created major movement across the dynasty market. Garret Price, Rich Dotson, and Peter Bartausky break down the biggest risers and fallers after Week 6, including several young receivers forcing their way up the rankings. Listen to This Episode: 🎧 Apple Podcasts 🎙️ Spotify ▶️ YouTube Matthew Golden headlines the risers after another strong performance convinced all three hosts that his breakout is no longer a small sample. His dynasty ranking is climbing quickly as he continues producing in Green Bay's pass-heavy offense. Omar Cooper Jr. offers another intriguing ceiling after flashing the same playmaking ability that made him exciting as a prospect. Meanwhile, Germie Bernard delivered a massive PPR performance, although the guys debate whether his current production creates a better selling opportunity than long-term breakout signal. Josh Downs continues receiving opportunities without turning them into consistent fantasy production, while Sam Darnold has struggled through a rough stretch. The biggest concern may be Cam Skattebo, whose role disappeared completely after already showing signs of slipping in the Giants' backfield. Dynasty Value Check: What Are We Doing With These Stars? Some dynasty players are easy to value. Others sit right in the uncomfortable middle where buying, selling, or holding can all make sense. Garret Price and Andrew Mott work through five major names that dynasty managers need to make decisions on right now. Listen to This Episode: 🎧 Apple Podcasts 🎙️ Spotify ▶️ YouTube Ashton Jeanty remains one of dynasty's top young running backs, but his week-to-week ceiling has not matched the elite tier above him. Christian Watson is producing like a fantasy WR1, but touchdown regression and Green Bay's changing target distribution make his long-term value harder to pin down. The biggest quarterback debate centers on Jayden Daniels. His rushing ceiling remains elite, but injuries, inconsistent passing production, and uncertainty in Washington have created more risk than expected. Drake London has looked like a star again with Michael Penix Jr. under center, while Chase Brown remains an intriguing buy for contenders despite a disappointing start. The key is roster context. Some of these players are holds. Others become buys only at the right price. Dynasty Buy Low or No Go: Which Struggling Stars Are Worth It? Not every disappointing start creates a dynasty buying opportunity. Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price play Buy Low or No Go, deciding which struggling players are worth targeting and which declining values might have even further to fall. Listen to This Episode: 🎧 Apple Podcasts 🎙️ Spotify ▶️ YouTube Bo Nix has struggled, but his previous production keeps the door open for a rebound. Colston Loveland has also disappointed, although the guys question whether his dynasty managers are actually willing to sell low enough to create a true discount. The outlook gets murkier with Daniel Jones and Jaylen Waddle, where price matters considerably more than name value. Then there is Justin Jefferson. He remains one of dynasty's biggest names, but injuries, uncertainty in Minnesota, and a changing receiver landscape make his value much more complicated than it once was. The guys finish by adjusting their dynasty boards. C.J. Stroud is climbing after a strong stretch, Isaiah Likely is earning a significant tight end bump, and A.J. Brown rises despite being sidelined as other receivers around him continue losing value. Dynasty Running Back Values Are Getting Complicated The dynasty running back landscape is getting uncomfortable. Rich Dotson, Matt O'Hara, and Garret Price break down a surprisingly thin group of young backs while also reacting to the massive Marvin Harrison Jr. trade to Houston. Listen to This Episode: 🎧 Apple Podcasts 🎙️ Spotify ▶️ YouTube A fresh start alongside C.J. Stroud creates an intriguing new opportunity for Harrison. The talent that made him an elite prospect has not disappeared, but determining the right price remains difficult. Is this the moment to buy the dip, or should managers use the excitement surrounding the trade to finally move on? Beyond Bijan Robinson and Jahmyr Gibbs, finding young running backs who combine security, production, and long-term upside is becoming difficult. The guys work through names like Ashton Jeanty, Jeremiah Love, Breece Hall, Bucky Irving, Omarion Hampton, Quinshon Judkins, TreVeyon Henderson, and Bhayshul Tuten to determine who can actually be trusted. That scarcity could also keep productive veterans valuable much longer than dynasty managers normally expect.
