045: Creative Constraint

When you allow yourself to remove some of the pressure we put on ourselves, it can really fill our souls. In this episode, I’m talking about letting go of the pressure we feel to do and learning how to rest, take a break and give yourself that soul care you really desire. In honor of Mother’s Day, I decided to bring on my first guest, my daughter, onto the podcast. As someone who has struggled with mental health and anxiety, I know it can be riveting to try to figure out how to navigate the thoughts you’re facing when a panic attack comes out of nowhere. Accepting our own humanity isn’t easy, but for me, it’s been critical in my own journey of navigating depression. In this episode, I get real and raw about my story of accepting my humanity. I know a lot of times, we can get caught up in the idea of there being a silver bullet that will make all of our problems go away.
