The hour begins with voicemails from listeners for Here's The Thing. Then, Jeff Passan of ESPN joins the show to give his thoughts on the postseason so far, how the Mariners would match up against either the Guardians or Tigers, plus plenty more.

Brock and Salk share theior thoughts of watching the first two days of playoff baseball and how important they believe it will be for the Mariners to capitalize with runners in scoring position this postseason. They then bring on former Mariner Jay Buhner to talk Mariners playoff baseball, Josh Nyalor, Ichiro in the scrimmage and more. In Blue 88, Brock dives in on the sustainability of the Seahawks, who the 2025 49ers remind him of and some revealing next level stats of the Seahawks offensive line.

It's now just two days from what will be a wild weekend in Seattle sports and Salk gets everyone ready between the two AL Wild Card series which will determine day and time of the Mariners game on Saturday, along with the impact of the Thursday Night Football game in the NFC West between the 49ers and Rams. Later, they re-air their conversation with Joel Klatt of FOX Sports to hear from him on the Seahawks, Sam Darnold, UW and more.
