We’ve received a lot of great advice from friends and family as we prep to welcome our first baby! One of our friends told us about cord blood storage - something we knew nothing about. After looking into it, we decided to hop on a chat with Dr. Jaime Shamonki, Chief Medical Officer at Cord Blood Registry, to talk all about the science and the why behind collecting and storing our baby’s cord blood and tissue. Dr. Jaime Shamonki is a mom of two. Now is always a good time to talk about anxiety. Although we’re feeling okay presently, we know that the wonderful adventure of parenthood will also come with many challenges that will test our relationship with ourselves and one another. Enter Dr. Ellen Vora. Dr. Vora is a holistic psychiatrist, acupuncturist, and yoga teacher. Our friend, Jeff Ullrich, joins us to answer our questions about autism.
