Disney has had a bumpy 2023. From the less than stellar marvel movies, Jonathan Majors fiasco, the fight with Florida and DeSantis and losing 4 millions subscribers, it's been a tough first half of the year.

Unlike any other social media platform, Twitter (more specifically its influence) is the easiest platform to see on TV and movies. Sometimes it’s direct, like the 2019 movie Zola, which literally used tweets to craft the story.Other times, it’s the relationship to jokes that get their shine on Twitter and get woven into scripts in writers rooms. In rarer instances, a show’s jokes are able to generate Twitter content weekly with each episode drop. Most recently, a show has been created based on a very specific byproduct of Twitter. We’re gonna talk about all of these works, what works or what doesn’t, and if going viral translates to other screens. 

The title describes itself. It’s been the talk of the past week, is it worth watching? Here’s what we think.

As kids, our discussion of sex in the media can be summed into one question: Did you know that the stars in the sky spell ‘SEX’ in The Lion King?Fast forward to adulthood and the questions around sex in TV and Film are unending and nuanced: Was that sex scene necessary? Did they use an intimacy coordinator? Do showrunners/writers consider actor’s consent when writing scripts? What kind of sex is too much? Who actually has this much sex?
