Night clubs had over-spilled in the UK into Disco pubs with punters eager to hear the latest sounds when the club DJs were in your high street or town,
whilst in London’s Southbank Be boppers and fly girls with Lino in hand were eager to get down.
The Record store became the hallowed turf, we hung out to buy the latest Street sounds and state-side imports like George Duke, Larry Wu & Tyrone Brunson’s the Smurf, Uk artists were established and that was nice as the Uk singles and LPs were sold at a cheaper price.
Music served undiluted and free’ as your soul should be…
